Trong bài thi viết IELTS có 2 tasks thì Task 2 sẽ dài hơn và chiếm nhiều điểm hơn so với Task 1. Tuy nhiên nhiều bạn gặp nhiều khó khăn ngay từ bước viết Introduction dẫn đến lãng phí nhiều thời gian và kết quả không tốt.
Thông thường đối với Task 2 phần mở đầu sẽ gồm 2 câu: 1 câu giới thiệu chủ đề bài viết và một câu trả lời câu hỏi đề bài một cách chung chung (Có 5 dạng chính: Opinion, Discuss, Discuss + Opinion, Problems + Solutions và 2-part Question). Mỗi dạng lại có một mẫu viết giới thiệu riêng
Câu giới thiệu chủ đề bài viết
Câu này chúng ta sẽ viết lại phần dẫn đề trên câu hỏi, tuy nhiên các bạn sẽ không được chép y nguyên lại đề bài, vì phần đó không phải do các bạn tự viết ra nên giám khảo sẽ không cho điểm.
Cách tốt nhất và tiết kiệm thời gian nhất cho câu này chính là paraphrase lại câu hỏi. Để làm được thì không còn cách nào khác ngoài việc luyện viết lại các câu có sẵn sao cho giống hoặc có nghĩa tương đương thật nhiều.

Câu trả lời cho câu hỏi đề bài 1 cách chung chung
Câu này các bạn phải trả lời đúng vào câu hỏi đề bài đã đưa ra. Nếu đề bài ra dạng “agree or disagree” thì bạn phải trả lời rõ ràng trong câu này là bạn đồng ý hay không đồng ý.

Discussion + Opinion
Đề bài: Some people regard video games as harmless fun, or even as a useful educational tool. Others, however, believe that videos games are having an adverse effect on the people who play them. In your opinion, do the drawbacks of video games outweigh the benefits?
Introduction: Many people and children in particular, enjoy playing computer games. While I accept that these games can sometimes have a positive effect on the user, I believe that they are more likely to have a harmful impact.
Problems + Solutions
Đề bài: In the developed world, average life expectancy is increasing. What problems will this cause for individuals and society? Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce the impact of ageing populations.
Introduction: It is true that people in industrialised nations can expect to live longer than ever before. Although there will undoubtedly be some negative consequences of this trend, societies can take steps to mitigate these potential problems.
2-part Question
Đề bài: Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because of technology.In what ways has technology affected the types of relationships that people make? Has this been a positive or negative development?
Introduction: It is true that new technologies have had an influence on communication between people. Technology has affected relationships in various ways, and in my opinion there are both positive and negative effects.
